Welcome!

Welcome to Unsolved and Unseen! This blog is all about different conspiracies, why they exist and the conspiracies that are believed in regards to what the truth is. My name's Kirsten, and despite being a business student, I am intrigued by different conspiracies, and love watching true crime documentaries and videos- especially those that are unsolved and have therefore gained conspiracies. It's fascinating to hear what people believe, and the bizarre conspiracies that exist, and so I want to put those ideas down all together and give my input, as someone who thinks realistically, and doesn't particularly believe the 'impossible'.  I have created this blog for educational purposes, no disrespect to anyone mentioned or involved. I am going to blog about more unknown cases/conpsiracies as well to hopefully raise some awareness. I hope you enjoy reading my posts!

Exploring Some of the World's Most Interesting Conspiracies

Conspiracy theories have been a part of human history for centuries, offering alternative explanations to events and phenomena that often defy mainstream understanding. These theories capture the imagination, posing questions that challenge our perception of reality and the information we’re fed by authorities. Whether it’s about the government, hidden societies, or extraterrestrial encounters, conspiracy theories offer a compelling mix of mystery, intrigue, and skepticism. In this post, I will dive into some of the most interesting and controversial conspiracy theories that continue to fascinate people across the globe.

1. The Moon Landing Was a Hoax

One of the most famous and enduring conspiracy theories is that the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969 was staged by NASA. Proponents of this theory argue that the U.S. government faked the landing to win the Space Race against the Soviet Union. Skeptics point to anomalies in the photos, such as the way shadows fall, and the absence of stars in the lunar sky. The theory suggests that all footage of the moon landing was filmed in a secret Hollywood-like set, with Stanley Kubrick’s name often brought up as the mastermind behind the production. Despite overwhelming evidence from astronauts, scientific analysis, and moon rock samples, this theory continues to thrive in some circles.

2. The Illuminati Control the World

The idea of the Illuminati, a secret society allegedly consisting of powerful elites, controlling world events has intrigued many. According to this theory, the Illuminati’s goal is to establish a "New World Order" by manipulating governments, economies, and societies. The Illuminati is said to include influential figures such as politicians, celebrities, and bankers. Conspiracy theorists point to symbols like the all-seeing eye on the U.S. dollar and the "hidden" messages in pop culture as evidence of their influence. While there’s no concrete proof of such a global network, the theory taps into fears of global control and manipulation.

3. The Bermuda Triangle Mystery

The Bermuda Triangle, a region of the North Atlantic Ocean bounded by Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico, has long been associated with strange disappearances of ships and aircraft. Some conspiracy theories suggest that the area is the site of an alien base or even a time warp, where ships and planes enter a parallel universe. The mysterious nature of these disappearances, combined with unusual weather patterns, magnetic anomalies, and the legends of Atlantis, has fueled this theory. Although most incidents in the Bermuda Triangle can be explained by human error or natural causes, the aura of mystery surrounding it remains captivating.

4. Chemtrails: Are They Poisoning Us?

The "chemtrail" conspiracy theory suggests that the white trails left behind by airplanes in the sky (contrails) are actually chemical or biological agents being deliberately sprayed to manipulate weather patterns, control the population, or even cause health problems. Proponents argue that these trails linger longer than ordinary contrails and sometimes appear to spread out across the sky in unusual patterns. While scientists explain that contrails are simply the result of water vapor freezing in cold air at high altitudes, chemtrail theorists believe they’re part of a covert geoengineering operation. The theory has led to fears about government overreach and environmental manipulation.

5. Flat Earth Theory: Is the Earth Really Round?

The Flat Earth theory has experienced a resurgence in recent years, despite centuries of scientific evidence confirming the Earth’s round shape. Proponents argue that the Earth is a flat disk, and that the global space agencies, like NASA, have been deceiving the public for years by promoting a spherical Earth. They believe that gravity, as we know it, is a lie and that the sun, moon, and stars are much closer than science suggests. The Flat Earth movement continues to have a vocal and growing following, fueled by a distrust of mainstream science and media. However, scientific evidence from satellite images, space missions, and physics overwhelmingly supports the Earth being an oblate spheroid.

6. The JFK Assassination: A Government Plot?

The assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963 remains shrouded in mystery and controversy. While the official account, as determined by the Warren Commission, concludes that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, many believe there was a larger conspiracy at play. Some theorists suggest that the CIA, the Mafia, or even vice president Lyndon B. Johnson were involved in orchestrating the murder. Theories are based on alleged inconsistencies in the evidence, eyewitness testimony, and the seemingly quick “cover-up” of certain details. The JFK assassination remains one of the most widely discussed and debated events in modern history.

7. The Reptilian Elite: Lizard People in Power

One of the most bizarre conspiracy theories is that the world’s elite are not human but are actually shape-shifting reptilian aliens. According to the theory, these reptilian beings have infiltrated governments, the royal families, and influential corporations, manipulating global events for their own sinister purposes. This theory gained significant popularity thanks to David Icke, a former footballer turned conspiracy theorist, who claims that the reptilian agenda spans millennia. The theory suggests that these reptilians feed off human fear and energy, and their hidden control over the planet is concealed through elaborate secret societies and rituals.

Conspiracy theories often arise from a mix of skepticism, fear, and a desire to find meaning in a world full of complex and unpredictable events. While most of these theories lack concrete evidence and are often debunked by experts, they still capture the public’s imagination, especially in times of uncertainty. Conspiracies can be intriguing and interesting to read about, and the more you think the more questions you have.

I hope you enjoyed!
